Recommended Brake Controller and Installation of Plug-In Wiring Adapter

I have a 06 F150 I want to put a controller for my trailer brakes is it under my Dash and where is it located

For your 2006 Ford F-150, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional controller that will apply the trailer brakes at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your truck. This controller has a nice LCD screen that gives you clear information and doesn't give codes that need deciphering like many other brake controllers. I've attached a video to assist.
To install this, you will use the Plug-In Wiring adapter # 3035-P. This attaches to the factory plug located beneath the dash, near the center console. I've attached a video of a similar installation to assist.
