5th Airborne Replacement Pin Box for Lippert 1621 on 2017 Forest River Prime Time
Question:
I have a 2011 Ford 250 short bed, utilizing a BandW Turnover gooseneck under the bed hitch. We are purchasing a 2017 Forest River Prime Time 32foot 5th wheel GVWR of 11465lbs. next week, I would like this installed when we pick it up. I would like to upgrade my Lippert 1621 pin box, to a Mor/ryde rubber pin box, any TrailAIR unit, or a 5th Airborne, Im also using a Pullrite Super Glide # 4400 with Pullrites BandW Turnover Adapter # 4431. What would be the best way to go for the best ride and safety of tow vehicle and trailer. Please help, because I have no idea. Respectfully submitted.

The PullRite SuperGlide B&W Adapter 4431 does allow use of your 20K SuperGlide hitch model 4400 in your 2011 Ford F-250 that has the B&W underbed gooseneck system installed. With this automatic-sliding hitch you will not need a Sidewinder pivoting pin box for turning clearance so you can use one of the cushioned fixed pin boxes we have that can replace the Lippert 1621.
The linked page displays the replacement cushioned pin boxes we offer that bolt up in place of the Lippert 1621. The best option for use with your B&W adapter setup is the 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler # 5AB-E1621-610. Other pin boxes like # LC158778 cannot be used with the B&W gooseneck adapter.
