Rear View Safety Camera Installation for Viewing Almost Directly Behind

Question:

I appears from the pictures you have to mount the camera with the mounting bracket in the down position. IE: on the RV roof in the back. But I would like to mount it on the rear outside wall with the bracket in the rear 90 degree position. Is there enough room for the antenna with the bracket swung back behind the camera rather than down?

The Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System - 5" Single Screen Display # RVS-155W is intended to work in the 90 Degree mount and will swivel up. It will not allow you to move it the full 180 degrees because the mount as well as the antenna will not allow it. The viewing angle will give you 130 degrees of view so you will be able to see behind you well without that 180 degree positioning. I think this camera will meet your needs to get close to the position you desire and give you the clarity of signal and view you desire.

To get the absolute compatibility you are seeking, I recommend the Rear View Safety SimpleSight Wireless Backup Camera System - Single Screen Monitor # RVS-355W. This will give you the view you desire and an option for adding two wired side cameras.

For just the primary camera by itself you would use part # RVS-770-HD.
