Length of the Outer Tube Below the Mounting Bracket, Pro Series A-Frame Trailer Jack # PS1401000303
Question:
I need a replacement A-frame trailer jack. The problem is that while the mount plate at the top of the trailer frame accepts a 2 tube, there is a plate on the bottom of the frame that is about 1 7/8. Looking at the photo of PS140100303, it looks like the outer tube below the A-frame plate is shorter than other models. Can you tell me how long the outer tube is below the plate, or recommend another jack? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The bottom of the outer tube, below the mounting bracket on the Pro Series A-Frame Jack, # PS1401000303, is 3 inches long. This is going to be the shortest distance of any of the A-frame trailer jacks. One option is to remove the bottom plate that is smaller and replace it with one that will fit like # BD003135.
