Dimensions of Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System
Question:
Hi...need measurements from the Curt C1730 WDH. Could you measure from the center of the ball to the farthest edge of the lift bracket? My trailer has a short V to fit WDH hardware roughly 30. I see the spring bar is 28 5/8. Could be tight. Oh, distance of from top of frame rail to bottom-most portion of chain/spring bar would help too. Thanks

You're going to be cutting it very close with the Curt Weight Distribution System # C17330. The brackets will sit about 29-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch ball. This can vary a little bit but not much since the chains need to be as vertical as possible.
The other measurement, from the to of the frame to under the spring bar is about 14-3/4 inches at its longest point.
