When wiring the # 30-92-003 Tail light with license plate light, you should only have one wire going to the turn/stop signal connection and one wire going to the taillight connection on each side of the trailer.

The Left side turn/stop wire on the trailer is yellow, Right side turn/stop wire is green, taillight wire should be brown.

On the left side you should connect the yellow wire from your trailer lighting to the green wire on the # 30-92-003 tail light, and connect the brown wire from the trailer to the black wire on the tail light. You will also need to make sure that the white wire is connected to a good ground location. Check out the video of how the light is wired that we produced for you.

If your wiring is connected in this manner and it is still not working, you will need to find a short or bad ground in the trailer wiring.

Can you tell me what each of the wires are? Green, white and black? I’m trying to connect a camera to my trailer and need to make sure I’m tapping into the correct wires. I think the green is positive and the white negative. Thanks.

On the Bargman Tail Light w/ License Bracket - 5 Function - Incandescent - White Base - Red/Clear Lens # 30-92-003 you will have the following: Green= Running/Tail Light Black = Brake and Turn Signal White=Ground To connect your camera, you will want to tap into the running light circuit, so the green wire. Your camera should use a separate ground wire to your chassis.
