Recommended Equalizer Kit for 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring e57SR

Question:

Broke leaf spring on the road. Ordered two from you and got it in 3 days as asked. The suspension is a Dexter w/3inch axles and a 3500 lb tag declaration on hitch. It is a tandem 2 axle ....which I was led to believe is unusual the 3inch diameter underslung..but I measured several times. The spring which broke was marked with a metal ring strap as 7224. As near as could be measured on the other wornout springs the eye to eye was ~25 3/4. I ordered your part no.SP-220275 at 25 1/4inch eye to eye. It fit perfect was an easy installation and we got the trailer home. Question: It is obvious the other springs, shackles, bolts and bushings on the pivot triangle?? are also worn. The pivot measures 5inch x 5inch legs x 6inch spring eye shackle separation center to center. Need the two 2 additional springs, shackles and pivot or pivot bushings, shackle bolts Can you help?

Along with the Universal Group 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e57SR that you referenced, it sounds like you are needing a replacement Equalizer Kit for your trailer.

Based on the dimensions you provided, I recommend taking a look at the Redline Tandem-Axle Trailer Equalizer Kit # AP233.

This kit includes two equalizers that measure 5-3/4 inches long from the center of one spring eye to the center of the other spring eye. I have included an image that clarifies its dimensions. We do not currently have an equalizer that measures exactly 6 inches from eye to eye. Also included in the kit are eight 2-1/4 inch long shackle straps, fourteen 3 inch long x 9/16 inch diameter shackle bolts and fourteen locknuts. This kit will work well with the new double-eye springs you are installing on the trailer.
