Trunk Mounted Bike Rack for 2016 Hyundai Tucson With Spoiler
Question:
Thanks for your reply. One more question. How would a Hollywood Over the Top rack compare with the Yakima FullBack in regard to potential spoiler damage. I actually prefer the Yakima because of it's ease of installation, but if the Hollywood would cause less potential damage I might have to go with that. Also, Can I install the Yakima as high up as possible to the Tucson to help mitigate potential spoiler damage. The Tucson is leased, therefore my concern about minimizing paint or body damage.

For the 2016 Hyundai Tuscon, I recommend Yakima's FullBack, available as a 3 bike, part # Y02633 or 2 Bike, part # Y02634.
This is a fully featured rack that includes an integrated bike and rack lock for added security. Yakima's ZipStrip provides an excellent, stable ride for your bikes, minimizing the amount of motion that the bikes experience while travelling. I also like how easy the rack is to adjust to the vehicle with the quick-adjust hubs to fit a vehicle.
Yakima has confirmed this fit for a Tuscon with spoiler, and though it looks like you'll have a flat connection across the spoiler, you'll want to position the rack a little higher than normal to run the straps above the spoiler, avoiding contact entirely.
I've included a video of this rack in action, so you can get an idea of its features and performance.
