3 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 1998 Buick Regal GS with Rear Spoiler

Will the 3 cycle trunk bike racks fit the 1998 Regal GS with a rear trunk spoiler?

Expert Reply:
We do have an option for carrying 3 bikes on your 1998 Regal GS with a rear trunk spoiler, but Thule states that the 1997 to 2004 Buick Regal cannot support the weight of their trunk mount bike carriers, and Yakima has not had the opportunity to test these vehicles with a rear mounted spoiler.
I would recommend going with the Curt Class II Trailer Hitch, item # C12225, on your vehicle and then using the Swagman Trailhead 3 Bike Carrier, item # S63365, for carrying 3 bikes. An upside to having a hitch mounted bike rack is that you will still have access to the trunk and will not have to worry about damage to the vehicle finish.
