Transmission Cooler for a 2017 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
I would like to add a transmission cooler to my 2017 Hyundai Tucson AWD. I have it set up with an electric brake and hitch to pull a pop-up camper 2,000 lb. Was thinking of your cooler D13950 but I am not sure of the hose size on my Tuscon.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Most cars, light trucks, and SUV's nowadays have either 3/8" or 11/32" transmission lines. I was not able to find the exact size transmission line for your 2017 Hyundai Tucson but the Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13950 comes with adapter fittings that will work with 5/16", 3/8", and 11/32" transmission lines. As long as you have 12-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall x 4-5/16" deep of space to mount this cooler anywhere on the vehicle, then it will work well for you.
