What is the Field of View for the Hopkins Backup Sensor System Part # HM60100VA
Question:
What is the radius that will be detected by the sensors? 90 degrees? 120 degrees? 150 degrees?. How far from the corner of the vehicle will it detect? I have a 2003 Lexus SC430 and want to add this to it. Is there an installation manual available?

The sensors on the Hopkins Backup Sensor System part # HM60100VA have a viewing angle of 110 degrees. The sensors can detect objects up to 5.5' away. There are three ranges of detection: red 0-1.5', yellow 1.5'-3.5', and green 3.5'-5.5'. If you need both the monitor and camera, you will want to use the Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors part # HM60195VA. Part # HM60100VA is only for the rearview camera and sensors.
