Recommended Cover for Powered Vent

Question:

Hello! Our bath vent is directed to 90 deg. from the usual front/rear. Basically it directs air to the side, or awning side of the trailer when it is open. Can I get rain cover protection with the fantastic vent product mounted sideways? Thanks!

With your vent mounted sideways, you can use a cover like the Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - 23" x 19.5" x 10.25" - White # FVU1500WH to keep the rain out when you are camping. However, covers are not intended to keep water out when traveling if mounted sideways because it will not be aerodynamic enough. My recommendation would be to remount your bath vent to face the rear when open to allow you the aspects of traveling with the vent open even in the rain.

I recommend using the Installation Kit # 344270KITW for this installation. I've attached a video to assist.
