The Flexco Manual Pull-Out Step # SMFP-1100 referenced in your question is designed for use on RVs but can be used for other applications. To see if this step assembly will work on your John Deere tractor, I simply recommend measuring the space you have available for which to mount it.
The mounting base on this unit measures 25 inches wide and 6 inches deep. It features a bolt pattern of 23-1/4 inches wide and 4-1/2 inches deep. The drop/rise is 7-1/2 inches from the top of the mounting base to the top of the step platform.
I have attached a couple images with some additional dimensions that you might also find helpful. I have also included a short video demonstration on this product for you to check out.
