Can Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106-2756 be Used in Rain
Question:
salem or popup vents are the rage on toy haulers, and u carry redline brand. can you do some legwork for us and find out if they can be left open in the rain, when to use low or high profile, are they dessigned for horiontal or vertical or both,etc. tks

It's good to know the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106-2756 is finally back in style! :)
There really isn't a "wrong" way to install it on a trailer but if it's raining you'd most likely want to keep it closed, or at the very least have it open away from the direction of travel so that it can pull air out of the trailer without allowing water in.
Most people put them on the top or side of the trailer with the long end of it facing towards the front of the trailer. That way the vent is open it's at the correct angle/direction for the air flow.
