Can the 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue be Flat Towed Behind an RV

I want to tow my 1999 Intrique behind my rv. My owners manual says not to tow it more than 500 miles at 50 mph. How acurate is this ? Do you know is this written in stone or are others towing theirs?

The information I was able to obtain is that the 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue can be flat towed with the addition of a transmission lube pump.
I believe what you have found in the owners manual is referring to towing without a transmission lube pump in emergency situations. You will still need to confirm the towability and pre-towing procedures for the vehicle with the owners manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer for specific towing procedures. I would not recommend towing this vehicle for recreation without adding the correct parts to ensure no damage will be done to the vehicle.
