Where to Find Brake Controller Install Port On 2015 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport. I have looked at the photo you provide to where you plug in the 3040-p but cant find an available connection. Trying to figure this out before ordering the controller to make sure I can do it myself.

We had the chance to install a brake controller in a similar 2012 Toyota Tacoma as your 2015 model which will use the same # 3040-P harness and we found it behind a taped up bundle of wire to the left of the emergency brake pedal. I attached a picture that shows our installer pulling it out from behind the wiring.
