B&W Companion Slider Measurements From Center of Gooseneck To Outer Edge

Question:

I have a 2012 F-250 6.7l diesel 6.5 bed with an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed that is 18 inches from center of the ball. Will this hitch fit in the bed with the tank and work on the truck with a headache rack. I have a goose neck adapter hitch on it now and was told it would cause damage to my camper. It is a 2005 Forest rivers 33 foot Wildcat.

The B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400 is 15 inches from the center of the gooseneck to the cab side furthest point. It is 30 inches from the gooseneck center to the tailgate side furthest point. This slider will absolutely work with a headache rack on your 2012 Ford F-250 short bed but you will want to account for that in your turns for adequate clearance.

Gooseneck adapters on trailers are not always covered under warranty if there is any damage from use. This is not an adapter but a hitch so all warranties will stay valid.
