Troubleshooting Tail Lights on Tow Vehicle and Trailer Not Working
Question:
So everything was working but all of a sudden the running lights on the camper stopped working and the rear left tailight on the car also stopped working. We tested the socket with a tester and they all have current and when the camper isnt plugged in the left taillight on the car works. All the signal lights and brake lights are working. We thought it was an earth problem but that appears not to be the case. Please help

Since you are having issues with the tail lights both on your trailer and your tow vehicle, there is likely a blown/damaged fuse on the vehicle side that simply needs to be replaced. I recommend checking your vehicle's owner's manual for the appropriate fuse locations and checking to see if they need to be replaced.
If this does not resolve the issue, please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
