Recommended Bike Rack for Class A Motorhome Pulling a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

I have a class a motorhome with a dual hitch and I flat tow a wrangler unlimited about #4500 . I have a bike rack in the top and a blue ox tow bar on the bottom, I think that i might have to extend the tow bar some to make the jeep clear the bike rack when turning , any ideas and do you think this would be ok. Thanks

For your Class A motorhome with dual hitch, I don't see an issue with towing a bike rack and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I do however see an issue with trying to extend the tow bar. That is not recommended at all as they are designed to be used with a single adapter like a dual hitch adapter. Using another adapter like an extension could cause some issues. I recommend you consider using another style of bike rack or one with different measurements that wouldn't require changing your tow bar in any way.

I've attached a link to all of your RV rated bike racks to assist. You may also want to consider putting the bike rack on the back of your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to allow you that turning clearance. That bike rack would not need to be rated for RV use if used on the back of your Jeep. Let me know if you are interested in recommendations.
