Curt RV Bumper Receiver with 2 Inch Opening Fit with Diamond Plate Bumper

Question:

Two questions about the fit. Im using this to hold a bike rack. Can this be installed upside down with the receiver on top of the bumper? Will this fit a 4x4inch bumper with diamond plate over the pumper?

The Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 can be installed with the receiver opening on top of the bumper. It will slide right over a 4 inch square bumper, so the diamond plate over the bumper may be tight fit or no fit if it is too thick. I've attached an installation video for you so you can see the fit on a traditional 4 inch square bumper. The inside width and height are designed to be 4-1/16 inches according to my contact at Curt.
