How to Attach Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System to Trailer Without Open A-Frame
Question:
How could the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 14,000 lbs GTW, 1,400 lbs TW, item # EQ37140ET be attached to a trailer that does not have an open A frame behind the hitch? I have an Adam 3 horse slant load trailer and the area behind the hitch is fully enclosed across the top of it. Also, if this can be installed on this type of A-Frame, how might this affect how it is connected or set up each time for me? I am a female of medium strength. Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
In order to use the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37140ET on your slant load trailer that does not have an open A-frame, you would need to drill the larger L-bracket into your trailer's tongue. This should not affect how you connect or set up each time; the only difference would be you are not clamping the L-bracket on.
This system does come with the necessary hardware for installation, though it is recommended you use thin walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 to make installing the hitch ball easier. I've included links to video reviews of these products for you to take a look at.
