Can Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar Tow Vehicle with Blue Ox Base Plates
Question:
I currently have a Blue Ox tow bar on my motor home and Blue Ox base plate on my 2014 Honda CR-V. My Blue Ox occasionally locks up if my towed vehicle is not properly aligned behind my motor home when I go to disconnect. Can I adapt the Sterling no lock tow bar to the existing Blue Ox base plate I have on my CR-V? If so, what do I need? If I make the conversion can I continue to use my Blue Ox Rock Guard?

You can adapt the Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar part # RM-522 to Blue Ox base plates with the correct adapter part # RM-031-5. This would be all that you'd need.
We can't safely guarantee the RockGard will still fit properly though.
