Are Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters Required for Pewag Skid Steer Tire Chains
Question:
I have a skid steer with 12-16.5 tires. Id like to buy tire chains. It looks like I have the right product, but I see someone in the comments mentioned tensioners. Can you tell me what else I need to purchase to install these chains on my skid steer? Thank you!

The Pewag Skid Steer Double Duty Snow Tire Chains part # PWSSE12165-2 are indeed designed for skid steer wheel and tires with an overall diameter ranging from 12" to 16.5". Depending on the tire and type of chain used, some manufacturers recommend using rubber tensioners or adjuster. They are not required but recommended to ensure the tire chains remain in the correct position.
Pewag does not state the need for rubber tensioners or adjuster while using these chains but it would not hurt you to use a set like part # PW100 if you choose to do so.
