A 175/80-13 tire is designed to be mounted onto a 13" wheel and a 5.30 x 12 tire is designed to be mounted onto a 12" wheel. Therefore, no you can not replace 175/80-13 tires with 5.30 x 12 tires on the same wheel.

With that being said, you can switch from a 175/80-13 tire and wheel setup to a 5.30 x 12 tire and wheel setup but it is not recommended to use a different size tire and wheel in comparison to what came equipped on the trailer from the manufacturer. Two things you will need to consider when changing wheel sizes is clearance between the top of the tire and the fender in addition to clearance between the wheel and the hub/drum.

For a replacement 175/80-13 tire, I recommend using the Westlake ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL101. This tire has a load range C rating and speed rating of up to 75 mph. All Westlake tires come with a 5 year manufactures warrenty and a 2 year complimentary roadside assistance warrenty. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.

Assuming you have the clearances needed to switch to a 5.30 x 12 wheel and tire, I have attached a list of all our 5.30 x 12 wheel and tire combinations for you. You will just need to filter through the facet to determine if you have a 4 on 4" or a 5 on 4-1/2" lug pattern . Please note that a 5.30 x 12 wheel and tire combination is only offered in a bias ply tire.

I have attached a review video of the Westlake tire for you.
