Many passenger cars do require special low-profile tire chains commonly called "S Class" chains such as Konig chain set # TH04115265. This tire chain does fit your tire size. These chains are needed when a vehicle has limited clearance in the wheel wells.

The Volkswagen website currently does not provide access to an online edition of the owner's manual for the 2016 Touareg but I was able to find a copy of the manual for the 2015 model year. Unfortunately it makes no reference at all to use of tire chains.

I suggest you check your own printed owner's manual for guidance and/or restrictions regarding use of tire chains on your tires of size 265/50R19. Some cars can use chains only on one axle or the other; in other instances chains can be used only on specific tire sizes (your Touareg can come with any of three sizes).
