Confirmed Replacement Sidewinder Pin Boxes for Lippert 1621 and 1621HD OEM Pin Boxes

Question:

Hi, I just purchased the Reese Sidewinder SW16K to replace my king pin LIP1621. I had a Revolution on my last trailer but looks a little different than the Sidewinder. Is this the right one to use. I understand they are the same... Just one is called Revolution as the OEM model. However, this one does not have the slope on the front. It is straight out..

For Lippert fixed pin box models 1621 and 1621HD we have several replacement pivoting pin boxes, also called both Revolution pin boxes and Sidewinders. Those replacements are:

# RP34FR, rated for 20K
# RP61422, rated for 16K and with an Air Ride air spring

All pin boxes will have the sloped front, but just how big it is and how visible it is will vary.

These pin boxes should not be used with certain 5th wheel hitches (listed on each item's page) nor with any other type of gooseneck-to-5th-wheel adapter.
