The Custom Mounting Bracket Kit for SnowBear Hydraulic and Winter Wolf Snowplows part # SB397-133 is indeed a SnowBear product. The mounting bracket kit is a direct fit for your 2015 Chevy Colorado and will not require any additional cutting, drilling, or grinding in order to install.
The universal crossmember you are referring to is the 5XM5 Universal Cross Member for SnowBear Snowplows part # SB324-060. If the snow plow you currently have does not already have this mount then yes, you will need the cross member in order to attach the snow plow to the custom mounting brackets.
