Compatibility of Pollak Twist-In 7-Way Trailer Connector with 4 Foot Wiring Harness Part # PK11998
Question:
Does twist-in connector socket PK11916 mate with pigtail wiring harness PK11998? Or, must I use the connector socket PK11893?

I went out to our warehouse, and pulled the connector, part # PK11916 and the harness, part # PK11998 off the shelf. The Twist-In Connector and the harness are compatible.
You mention that you have a 2005 Silverado, the Twist-In Connector is compatible with the New Body Silverado, 2007-Present. You would want to go with the # PK11893.
