7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Recommendation for Bed of 2017 GMC 3500HD

Question:

I just got a 2017 GMC Denali 3500 HD Diesel Dooley and would like to put a plug for the gooseneck hitch trailer in the bed. I bought this truck off the lot and one of the options on it is a camper/5th wheel Trailer wiring provisions option. No one seems to know exactly what this is, including the dealer. I have rooted around underneath and found a large bundle of wire on top of the spare tire and it looks like there are four tag ends coming out at the end of the bundle, although it is difficult to see clearly. The wire bundle is tie wrapped up there, and I didn’t want to take it down at the moment to investigate further as it looks to be 4- 6 feet long. I assume that this is the wiring I would use to connect to the plug in the bed, but I am having great difficulty finding any guidance. Do you have any idea what I would need to hook this up to a connector that I would put inside the bed? Thanks.

Based on what you described that sounds like the truck bed 7-way wiring. You'd have to pull it down though. Most likely you'll find a round connector at the end with a blue center piece. The attached picture shows that connector I just described.

You'd be able to connect the part # PK11893 to that and you'd have a 7-way you could mount up in the bed.
