Converter Needed to Run Separate Taillight Wiring on Trailer
Question:
I looked at your diagrams of 7 pin trailer wiring. I thought that part of the purpose of having the 7 pins were to separate the left and right turn signals from the brake lights? There are many trucks that have that type of vehicle wiring. I want my trailer to work and be wired as such. Do they have that type of diagrams?

Standard trailer wiring has the turn signals and brake lights combined. The only time we see separate is if someone decides to use a converter on the trailers wiring to separate the signals and run dedicated brake lights.
