Can the 331-BCDC1225D Battery Charger be Used on a Cars Alternator

Battery Charger ok for cars alternator Will this device place unnecessary stress on your vehicles alterator?

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D is specifically designed to be used with an automotive alternator or smart alternator.
The battery charger does not necessarily force the alternator to draw more power but rather optimizes the charge generated during driving in order to provide you with more battery power and capacity when you need it. Therefore, no will not stress the vehicle's alternator.
As long as you are using the battery charger to charge a 12V lead acid battery and have a minimum alternator output of at least 13.1V, then this charger will work well for you. I have attached a review video of the charger for you.
