Recommended Radial Tires Over Bias Tires for 2010 Covered Wagon Trailer
Question:
My 2010 Covered Wagon trailer came with ST205/75D15 C tires in it and they have cracks in the side walls. I am going to replace them before I have a failure and would like to know if switching to radial tires would be better. If yes, why?

For your 2010 Covered Wagon Trailer, I do recommend you upgrade to radial tires. My recommendation is the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # TR20515D. The reason for upgrading is that radial tires have belts or cords that are positioned at 90 degrees from the direction of the tire rotation. This prevents the cords from making contact with each other when the tire flexes which allows them to decrease rolling resistance heat better than bias tires. This allows them to run cooler which gives them a greater resistance to failure and longer tread life especially when used for highway driving.
This Taskmaster Provider tires have automotive grade tread with sipes to channel water away. They are rated for 2150 lbs at 65 psi and have a speed rating of up to 81 mph.
