CIPA Towing Mirror Recommendation for 1999 Ford F-250

Question:

Thanks, Jameson, for the response. It appears, though, that none of the mirror extensions we have looked at will work for my 1999 pickup. I am enclosing several photos of the existing mirrors to clarify the size and look of the existing mirrors. As the pictures show, the current mirrors are 11 inches deep and 8 inches wide and already extend several inches from the pickup. Both the driver's mirror and passenger mirror are the same size. I find I need additional extension length when pulling my 38' 5th wheel trailer. Can you help me find appropriate extensions?

I have a slide on tow mirror that would work great on your 1999 Ford F-250, but it's not the # 10701 as it's for Dodge trucks.

Instead you'd want the CIPA part # CM11900 which is a confirmed fit and would work great. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

Looks like you have the vertical style mirror. Sorry for the confusion but you are correct that the slip on mirrors we offer do not fit them. I do have a solution though. A fender mounted tow mirror like the # 11750 would be a great option that would fit. The viewing angle is moved forward and can telescope out which gives a great view behind the vehicle as you are towing.
