Before choosing a set of tire chains for your 2016 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 you will want to review the snow chains section of your owner's manual for any restrictions or compatible issues. I have summarized a few key points for you below.

- Mount snow chains only in pairs and only to the rear wheels. On vehicles with twin tires, mount the snow chains to the outer wheels.

- Activate all-wheel drive before driving off with snow chains (If equipped).

The Titan Chains Mud Service Snow Tire Chains part # TC2219CAM weigh 12.5 lbs a piece or 25 lbs for the pair. The Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners part # PWH2221SC weigh 13.5 lbs a piece or 27 lbs for the pair.

As the owners manual only recommends installing tire chains on the rear two wheels, I cannot advise you to go against these recommendations. I can say that between these two options, I recommend the Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains as they have a cam tightener that makes installation much easier.

As long as you have the standard 245/75-16 tires on your vehicle then these chains will work well for you.
