Surge Brake Actuator Recommendation for 1979 Wellcraft Sunhatch 196
Question:
I need your advice on which product will best suit my needs. I have a brake surge actuator to replace. the boat is a 1979 Wellcraft Sunhatch 196. The trailer has 4 wheels and 2 of them are drum brakes. Which surge actuator will be the closet match for me? The bolt pattern on the ones you have listed do not match mine, but I guess I could drill another for them. Thanks

I'd recommend going with the Demco surge actuator part # DM72VR which is designed for a pole tongue trailer like your boat trailer, has a 6k capacity, is designed for drum brakes, and a 2 inch ball. This is our most popular surge actuator for boat trailers with drum brakes so it would work very well for you.
