Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 2002 Nissan Altima with Spoiler
Question:
I have a 2002 Nissan Altima that has a spoiler from the factory. Some trunk racks will not work, but am hoping this one will. Please let me know if this will work for me.

To use a trunk mount bike rack that can be positioned around the spoiler on your 2002 Nissan Altima you will want to look at models that have legs and arms that move independently from each other. The legs are what make contact with the vehicle and the arms are what holds the bikes.
Even though the Expediton # HRF6-2 is a confirmed fit for your Altima, the arms are integrated into the upper legs so you won't have the adjustability needed to ensure that it goes over the spoiler and can still hold the bikes correctly.
The rack that will clear the spoiler for sure is the Over-The-Top rack # HRF2. It has an extended upper arm piece that will easily go over the spoiler. This is my recommendation for you. I have linked some videos of the Expedition and Over-The-Top for you.
