How Often to Grease the Ultra Fab Skid Wheels UF48-979023
Question:
I have the # UF48-979023. skid roller welded to the frame hitch on my 24foot trailer. they are about 4 years old. They have served me well. I need to replace the shafts on my wheels as one of them sheared off when I came out of a drive way and force the wheel up into the bracket. the shaft sheared at the thread line showing rust mid shaft so I need to replace one and figure best to replace both. also I never knew they had zerks and should be lubed. how often should this be performed?

It would be a good time to replace both of your rollers with the part # UF48-979023 that you mentioned.
There isn't a set grease schedule for these but if you greased them once a season, or even once at the beginning of the season and once at the end you'd be good.
