Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 7,200 lb Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 1200# trailer and a 6000# boat. Trailer has a LONG tongue. The load distribution on between my tow vehicle and boat looks very good and level. But, I want sway control. I looked at the Reese RP3280 and some kind of Sway control. I am looking for some recommendations. Thanks

Due to the weight of your trailer you'd need the pole tongue adapter part # RP58393 since it's good for up to 1,400 lbs of tongue weight.

Your trailer loaded is at 7,200 lbs which means the tongue weight will be between 700 and 1,000 lbs. That means the part # RP66560 would be your best option as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features friction sway control.
