Yes, the -6 AN fitting on the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan part # D13960 will work for your 2010 GMC Yukon with the 5.3L V8 engine. This cooler has a -6 AN x 3/8" hose barb fitting that will adapt the -6 AN for use with a 3/8" diameter rubber hose.
The Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Engine Cooler Kit part # D15660 has a -8 AN x 1/2" hose barb fitting that will adapt the -8 AN for use with a 1/2" diameter rubber hose. Keep in mind that this kit is designed to cool engine oil and though can still be used for transmission fluid, the extra components will not be used if done so. If you decide to go with a -8 AN transmission cooler kit you will want to use the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan part # D15960 as this kit will not have the extra unneeded parts.
I spoke to my contact at Derale and they recommend you use the -6 AN kit with the 3/8" diameter rubber hose as this is the same size hose used on the vehicle's factory transmission lines. All of Derale coolers and rubber hoses are tested up to 250 working pounds per square Inch (psi) and 300 burst psi. The Continental ContiTech lines included in the kit are top-of-the-line and are said to be the strongest available as far as rubber hoses go.
