Equal-I-Zer Weight Distribution Recommendation for Trailer with GVWR of 8,300 lb

Question:

Hello, I am currently towing a KZ Spree S312BHK trailer with my 2016 Toyota Tundra 4X4 Platinum. My trailers GVWR is 8300 lbs, and dry tongue weight is 720 lbs. I am currently looking for a hitch that will help with sway. I have been looking at the Eaz Lift ReCurve R6 and the Equal-i-zer. Can you give me some pros and cons for both hitches? Thanks,

We don't carry the EAZ systems but the Equal-i-Zers are considered by most people to be the nicest on the market so I know you won't go wrong with one.

If you have a dry tongue weight of 720 lbs that means you most likely would have a loaded tongue weight of between 830 and 1,100 lbs which means the Equal-I-zer system part # EQ37120ET would be your best option.

This has a tongue weight range of 800-1,200 lbs and would work very well for you.
