Compatibility of Parts to Install Brake Controller in 1979 Chevy Blazer
Question:
I have chosen the following parts for my trailer and vehicle. I have a 16 foot dual axle trailer with 2 brakes and a 1979 K-5 Blazer 4x4. Can you please tell me if they are a good fit and work well together before I purchase them? C24VV ETBC7 C51515 118311 50-67-106 Thank you

I can certainly help you out ensuring you have all the correct parts to install a brake controller. Since you decided on the Curt TriFlex # C24VV, and don't have a harness port in your '79 Blazer, you are correct that you'd need adapter # C51515.
It will also be necessary to add the wiring, which comes with the # ETBC7, and along with that you'll need a 4-way, and # 118311 is a confirmed fit for your Blazer and will work with the ETBC7. Finally, the 7-Way Connector # 50-67-106 is going to fit into the 7-way of the ETBC7.
You have chosen wisely, and will be good to go for a brake controller install.
