Have to Prime Brake Pedal for Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System to Build Pressure
Question:
The invisibrake does not built pressure to engage the brake pedal if I do not prime the pedal a couple of times at first to built pressure. Once the pressure is built, the invisibrake keeps it and does his job. What seems to be the issue?

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster regarding the InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 that you have installed. He stated that depending on your vehicle, priming the brake pedal in order to build the necessary pressure is completely normal. Certain vehicles require this to essentially deplete the vacuum component of the system before it can operate properly.
Before taking off on a trip, you will just need to press on the brake pedal a few times, as you have been doing already. This will allow the system to work as it should and it is not an issue.
