Recommended Front Mounted Hitch for 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I have looked at all the pictures for front hitch installs but I did not see any that had the same front bumper or body style that my truck has. It is a 2002 Chevy 3500 one ton dually with a Dura Max diesel. I just want to make sure that the hitch you show is for my style truck. Please advise. I was looking at the Draw Tite front mounted hitch. Thank you in advance.

If you have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 with a factory bumper, the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65028 is confirmed to fit and will work well on your truck. No drilling will be required for installation although keep in mind that some access holes may need to be enlarged and slight fascia deformation might occur on some models.
This heavy-duty hitch will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening and a 500 pound vertical load limit. All of the necessary hardware is included. I have attached the installation details that you can check out.
