Recommended Gooseneck and Suspension Enhancement for a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT FX4
Question:
I am looking at getting a set of sumosprings for the rear of my 2016 F150 XLT FX4 to enhance bumper pull towing, will I still be able to add a gooseneck hitch in the bed? Also, would the sumosprings enhance the gooseneck towing at all? I am in manufacturing so I tow flatbed trailers not RVs or toy haulers.

There are suspension enhancement options for you to use in addition to installing a gooseneck hitch on your 2016 Ford F-150 XLT FX4, however, due to the tabs on the SumoSprings, like part # SSR-117-47, I cannot confirm whether they will be compatible with the gooseneck brackets.
What I recommend doing is installing the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA28 which do not mount to the frame at all. This suspension stabilizer focuses more on the leaf springs instead of replacing the bump stop.
The gooseneck hitch I recommend is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BW77FR which is one of the most popular hitches we have. It is rated for 30,000 lbs, allows you to turn the hitch ball upside down to store for a clean bed, and is made right here in the USA!
If you do not already have a 7-Way installed in the bed of your F-150 then I also recommend installing the Hopkins # 41157 which will make connecting and disconnecting your gooseneck 7-Way much easier.
