Lippert Slide Out Motor Replacement Recommendation for Serial Number V18-167093-40

Question:

You must be the son of James??? Hi again, I took the gearbox/motor assembly of and inspected the inside. All the gears look very good. I am surprised that they have two nylon gears driving the main metal clutch gear. Frankly I could not find anything wrong inside, no nylon shavings nor metal shavings. All I can gather is that the clutch is weak. Can we replace the inside of this box? Apparently this is all I can gather. The only tag on the unit says: Ser, No, V18-167093-40 18 to 1 ratio 30 Amps max 12 VDC

Most likely it's the gear box, I'd need to know more info though to determine if we have anything that might work though as there are several Lippert slide out configurations. When you get in there to inspect it can you get me the numbers you find?

I have a grandpa named James but that's not my dad's name haha. Based on what you found the correct replacement motor setup is the part # LC132682. Electronic motors can pretty easily go bad without any visible signs of it unless you take the core apart and examine the windings which is what it sounds like is going on for you.
