Recommended 3-Bike Trunk-Mount Rack for 2007 Honda Odyssey Van

Question:

I am looking for a trunk mounted bike rack for a 2007 Honda Odyssey. I have a road bike and would like to transport that as well as 2 other bikes most of the time it would only be 1 bike. The roof racks are ok but I have difficulty lifting my sons bike up there. Is there a rack that would work with the Odyssey?

For your 2007 Honda Odyssey the trunk-mount bike rack that I suggest is the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 3 Bike Rack # HRF2-3. This unique carrier features an innovative arched frame design that allows it to work well on vehicles with spoilers. Many otherwise excellent racks cannot be used on such vehicles but the HRF2-3 will avoid any interference with the rear spoiler.

If any of the bikes does not have a horizontal top frame tube, such as some women's and alternative design bikes, then I suggest an adapter bar to help such bikes remain level on the carrier. The adapter bar I recommend is the Hollywood Racks # HRBA-PRO which is shown in the linked video.
