Combination Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Hitch for 2008 Ford F-250 Long Bed
Question:
I have a 2008 F250 Super Duty Truck with an 8foot bed a tool box mounted in it. I need a fifth wheel hitch that will allow me to remove it when not in use. The fifth wheel is a 6500 pound 1989 Skamper...it is probably about the same length as my truck. If you have stock # of a hitch that would pull this trailer that would best for my truck. Also, if there is such a hitch that would allow me to pull a gooseneck cattle trailer.

The best option for a combination gooseneck hitch and 5th wheel hitch system for your long-bed 2008 Ford F-250 comes from USA-made B&W.
The gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1108-5W doubles as the installation kit for their 20K Companion 5th wheel hitch # BWRVK3500-5W. Need to tow the gooseneck cattle trailer? Drop in the included gooseneck ball and off you go. Need to pull the 5th wheel? Remove the ball and drop in the Companion hitch. Need to haul cargo in the bed? You can have a totally clear bed easily just by removing the 5th wheel and gooseneck ball. For wiring use # PK11893-11932.
The B&W system is not cheap but it is among the finest towing options on the market. Family-owned and operated, B&W fabricates in-house in their plant in Kansas. They even make their own tooling in their metal fabrication shop. This is the best buy-it-once-the-right-way product available.
