Custom Fit Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-250

Question:

I just bought mounting bracket # ht31408 for my 2017 ford f 250 super duty and it wont fit between the box tubes that hold the box to the frame also the holes dont line up I also noticed angel iron welded on the inside of the frame do I have the wrong part ?

For your 2017 Ford F-250 the Husky rail bracket kit you have is not the correct kit. That is why you aren't able to install it.

For a custom install bracket kit with rails that is a confirmed fit you'd want the part # RP50074-58 which will bolt right up and minimize drilling. If you have Husky rails already you would not be able to reuse them with a Reese bracket kit so you'd have to start over with new rails like what this kit offers.
