I recommend installing the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit # 9465-40. This will fit either a 6-1/2 or 8 foot bed and will allow you to use the Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # 9480 to tow your 5th wheel trailer. The only restriction is that this Draw-Tite gooseneck hitch will not fit trucks with Flareside of Stepside beds.
If you have either of these styles of bed let me know and I can make a different recommendation.
If you do not already have a 7-Way installed in the bed of your Chevy then I recommend installing the Draw-Tite # 20023 as well to make connecting and disconnecting your trailer much easier.
