Will MagnaFlow Straight-Through Muffler # MF12867 Work On Ford F-150 with 2-1/2 Inch Pipe

Mf12867 Will this be compatible with my 2.5 inch pipe on my 2007 f150 5.4 L

Expert Reply:
The MagnaFlow Stainless Steel, Straight-Through Universal Muffler # MF12867 referenced in your question features inlet/outlet diameters of 3 inches. This will not be a good option for the 2-1/2 inch pipe on your Ford F-150/
For the 2-1/2 inch pipe on your 2007 F-150, I instead recommend the MagnaFlow Straight-Through Muffler # MF12866. This muffler has the same 5 inch round x 20 inch long dimensions as the unit you referenced, but also has 2-1/2 inch inlet/outlet diameters that will fit the pipe on your truck. You will just want to make sure that the size of this muffler will work on your F-150. You can measure your existing muffler to see how this unit compares as a replacement.
